Independent Analyst Ranks AlphaTrade.com

VANCOUVER, B.C., April 15, 1999 - In a report released Thursday, independent analyst Randall D. Lewis said AlphaTrade.com's management "is experienced, sound and appears to have the ability to lead AlphaTrade as a going concern."

Lewis assigned AlphaTrade's stock a "neutral" rating because there are "simply too many variables to put an accurate valuation on the stock at this time. Despite those variables, AlphaTrade's market is growing and the company "has the technology and seems to be following the 'Better, Faster, Cheaper' model that is so critical to a fledgling Internet company's success."

AlphaTrade (OTCBB: EBNK) is an Internet-based company developing "Web-to-desktop" convergence technologies. Applications designed and deployed by AlphaTrade offer computer users endless business and personal choices. This summer, the company will unveil a financial Web portal designed to leverage the intelligence and quickness of AlphaTrade's unique technologies. Users will be able to choose from a customized assortment of applications - all delivered via a nimble, thin client platform in their browser.

"What Lewis' analysis shows us is that we are being realistic about creating the Internet's premier investment site," said Victor Cardenas, AlphaTrade's President. "As we roll our product out to market, this realistic review will reinforce the credibility, strength and wisdom by which AlphaTrade serves its customers and investors."

AlphaTrade executives are encouraged by the report. It mirrors the company's dedication to producing the industry's first private label, turnkey Internet investment site on a timeframe that does not sacrifice quality, Cardenas said.
