October 14th, 1999 - Vancouver BC- AlphaTrade.com would like to announce that the Presentation In New York was a complete success and the New Applications worked flawlessly.

The presentation included a "Live On line" demonstration of the new and upgraded applications for E-Gate. The live demonstration clearly showed the power and reliability of this cutting edge technology. The new Quote Grid, Portfolio Manager, The Top Ten, Snap Quote, and the first ever Interactive News Applet performed flawlessly. All of the new and enhanced features were well received especially the ability to save all of the users input making them accessible from anywhere in the world, from any computer at any time.

The company also announced that it is entering into Phase II of its corporate development to build the first Universal On Line Trading Platform for the Internet (UTPI), with ASG of Schaumburg Il., ASG being the leader of online trading development.

The commitment for financing announced on October 13th, will be used on a "as needed" basis only for the development of the UTPI. The terms and conditions were not announced as the company maintains the right to set the price, the amount of financing required when and if needed. It is anticipated that any financing accepted by the company would be in incremental amounts as determined by the progress of the development of the UTPI. In any event it is clearly not the intention of the company to cause any unnecessary dilution of shareholder equity.

The company also wishes to announce that it is embarking on a strong and aggressive marketing campaign for E-Gate. Presentations are now being planned for Miami, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Vietnam all before the end of 1999.
