AlphaTrade.com Launches Wireless Division
Despite Listing Delay

Vancouver, BC, March 15, 2000 - AlphaTrade.comSM (OTC BB: EBNK) today announced that although AlphaTradeSM fulfills all published NASDAQ requirements for a Listing under Market Capitalization, NASDAQ has decided not to approve the company’s application at this time. This decision was based in part upon the company’s lack of continuous revenues and the embryonic stage of the company. The Board of Directors respects their decision but views it as only a delay in obtaining a full Nasdaq listing and is confident that Alphatrade will be reapplying within a short period of time.

Gordon Muir, Chairman of Alphatrade.com, states "that although this is not the answer we had hoped for, it certainly does not affect the focus or direction of the company." The company is proceeding with establishing a wireless division so all of the E-GateSM's financial tools can be utilized with all wireless platforms such as two-way pagers, cell phones, hand-held PC’s and PDA’s.

E-GateSM's patent pending applications are ideal for wireless and hand-held devices. Our applications require no software to download and no installation is needed. These types of handheld devices have limited storage capacity thus, they are unable to utilize most of the current real-time Internet financial tools available. E-GateSM however, with it’s interactive Java applets, will provide wireless users with streaming real-time equity data, quotes, news alerts and even the ability to trade stocks at anytime, from anywhere.

In order to ensure that the E-GateSM tools will be compatible with many of the most popular wireless platforms, AlphaTrade.comSM has partnered with several Developer programs offered by companies leading the way in the wireless revolution. These include Phone.com (Nasdaq: PHCM), Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUNW) and Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM, TSE: RIM).

Supporting the new Java 2, Micro Edition (J2ME) platform developed by Sun Microsystems is a natural evolution for the E-GateSM suite since it is true Java application. J2ME is a development environment for solution providers which is part of the Sun Java 2 Platform family.  The M2ME is optimized for wireless devices and features a Java virtual machine, APIs, libraries and tools for wireless devices.

AlphaTrade.comSM is a true E-Commerce Internet-based company with "Web-to-desktop" convergence technologies, applications and Network solutions. Without ever having to purchase or download software the AlphaWare line of applications are designed to offer computer users secure endless business and personal program choices available anytime, anywhere through any modem or cable connection.
