AlphaTrade.com Board decides not to acquire NetVentures Inc.

Vancouver BC- March 28, 2000 - AlphaTrade.com (OTC BB:EBNK) announced today that it will not proceed with the acquisition of NetVentures Inc. of Chicago Illinois.

After a lengthy review and due diligence period the board of directors has determined that the acquisition of NetVentures will not proceed. Gordon Muir, Chairman of AlphaTrade, stated "The revenue projections and current infrastructure which was presented by NetVentures did not meet our approval or expectations. With the level of commitment and investment required to support NetVentures it would not make sense for us to proceed with the acquisition under the proposed terms."
