An Event to Remember

San Diego, CA (May 7, 2006) - The 8th annual Toyota Celebrity Classic hosted by Stan Humphries was the ultimate weekend for golf enthusiasts and fans who watched their favorite celebrities compete for a purse of $225,000 on the links at Morgan Run Resort and Club. Winning the 2006 tournament title was NHL Hall of Fame goaltender Grant Fuhr, who retired in 2000 after 20 years in the National Hockey League that included five Stanley Cup Championships with the Edmonton Oilers and six NHL All-Star appearances.

Fuhr was able to overcome the field of sixty-five by shooting a combined score of 137, five under par. Coming in a close second shooting one under par, was former NFL quarterback Chris Chandler and former CFL quarterback John Congemi. Other important notables are former Chargers quarterback Stan Humphries and former NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice. Stan Humphries, who after the first round was in second place, finished his tournament with a very respectable sixth place finish shooting a plus one for the weekend. Jerry Rice, who is best known for his skills on the football field and dancing moves on the reality T.V. show "Dancing With The Stars," finished the tournament tied for eleventh with five other players at plus five.

Although Grant Fuhr took first place, the real winner of the event was San Diego Children's Hospital and Health Center, which has been the Tournament's beneficiary since its inception. Former Chargers quarterback Stan Humphries, Hockey stars Mike Eruzione, Don Edwards and Pierre LaRouche and many other Tournament celebrities huddled up with some young patients at Children's to pose for pictures and sign autographs on Wednesday, April 26. At the close of the event on Sunday, April 30th the Toyota Celebrity Classic donated over $133,000 to Children's Hospital and Health Center through monies raised at auctions and tickets sales including a $6,000 Jerry Rice autographed jersey and dance-off with Penny Perfect from AlphaTrade.com (OTCBB: APTD) (Right. The Toyota Celebrity Classic was an entertaining star-studded event with celebrities including NFL All-Stars Drew Brees, Marcus Allen, and Marshall Faulk. Also making an appearance were MLB Hall of Famers Rollie Fingers, Mike Schmidt, Johnny Bench and NHL Hall of Fame legend Mario Lemieux. Some of the entertainment industry's top entertainers showed to support Children's Hospital as well; Adrian Young the drummer from the band No Doubt, Alfonso Ribeiro best known for his role as Carlton on the T.V. sitcom Fresh Prince of Bell Air and comedian Tom Dreesen.

Aside from the intense competition on the celebrity-packed golf course, fans were able to participate in exciting activities including the San Diego County Credit Union Putt for a 2006 Toyota Camry, and the Million Dollar Hole-In-One Contest.

New to this year's tournament was the first annual Military Appreciation Day presented by Alignment Express and Crystal Catering, which allowed active military and their families to attend the event free of charge. This incredible day hosted a variety of festivities including a color guard ceremony, the honoring of an outstanding servicewoman and free contests for guests of all ages. In addition, the first 1,500 guests to RSVP online received complimentary lunches and the first 250 children were given free T-shirts.
