If you are experiencing problems viewing
the latest version of E-Gate, you may need to
empty your Internet Cache. Click on the link below
for the browser that you use and follow the instructions.
AOL and AOL Canada
- In AOL go to MY AOL icon and scroll down to the
preferences, then click on it. This will direct you
to the preferences window in AOL.
- There you will need to click on the Icon WWW referring
to the World Wide Web.
- The next window that pops up is the AOL Internet
Properties.
- You will see four tabs labelled General, Security,
Content and Web Graphics. Please stay in the General
tab menu.
- In the General tab menu you will see three different
categories: Home page, Temporary Internet files and
History.
- Go to Temporary Internet files and click on Delete
Files.
- The Delete Files window will pop up, next click
on the box labelled delete all offline content, make
sure that the box has a check mark in it before you
continue. Once that is complete, click OK. It might
take several seconds depending on the amount of files
that are stored.
- Close down all windows. You are now finished clearing
your cache.
Internet Explorer 5.x
If you don't have Internet Explorer 5 or higher, click
here.
- Please click on the "Tools" button on the top line
of your internet browser.
- Scroll down and click "Internet Options"
- Once the "Internet Options" window opens, click
on the "Delete Files..." button in the "Temporary
Internet files" window.
- Make sure that the box beside "Delete all offline
content" is checked.
- The Delete Files window will pop up, next click
on the box labelled delete all offline content, make
sure that the box has a check mark in it before you
can continue. Once that is complete, click OK. It
might take several seconds depending on the amount
of files that are stored.
- Close down all windows. You are now finished clearing
your cache.
Netscape
- On the top of your browser you will see the "Edit" button
next to "File".
- Please click on the "Edit" and then click on the "Preferences" button.
- When the "Preferences" window opens you will see
a list of options in a white rectangle on the left.
- At the bottom of the list you will see a plus sign
(+) in front of "Advanced" click on the plus sign
and more options will show up below "Advanced" click
on "Cache."
- On the right side you will now see two buttons, "Clear
Memory Cache" and "Clear Disk Cache" click on each
of these buttons. It might take several seconds depending
on the amount of files at are stored.
- Close down all windows. You are now finished clearing
your cache.
- For best viewing results, please try Internet
Explorer.
