Rules and Regulations
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. THE PROMOTION IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. Standard text messaging rates apply to each text message sent or received as provided in your wireless plan (contact your carrier for pricing plans and details). In addition, a premium text message charge of $.99 (99 cents) will apply to all text messages sent in connection with the Promotion. This charge will be billed on your wireless phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance for each text message sent in connection with the Promotion after the initial opt in message. Consumers can also enter the Promotion by visiting http://www.alphatrade.com/text_adrl_thunder_entry.php and submitting an online entry with a valid cell phone number.
Eligibility/Promotion Period:
The AlphaTrade Thunder Zone Promotion ("Promotion") begins at 6:00 am PST March 7, 2008 and ends at 9:00 pm PST on October 25, 2008 (the "Promotion Period"). All eligible entries for First Prize drawings must be received before the close of the promotion period to be eligible. All times in these rules are Pacifc Standard Time ("PT"). No purchase or text-messaging necessary to enter or win in this Promotion. For entertainment purposes only. The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the continental United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Georgia), who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry and possess a cellular phone at time of entry. Employees of AlphaTrade, the American Drag Racing League ("ADRL") and VeriSign, their advertising and promotion agencies involved with this Promotion, and each of their respective subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates and related companies, immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to participate or win. By entering the Promotion, participants are bound by and agree to these official rules. Void in Georgia and outside the continental United States and the District of Columbia, and where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Methods of Entry:

If you have a text messaging capable cell phone from a participating carrier, you may enter the Promotion once prompted to by visual presentation or other form of print media by texting adrl to the short code 65665. Then follow the directions sent to your cell phone to opt in and to receive your official entry confirmation. A maximum of fifty (50) entries, per day sent from an individual registered cell phone number or account are accepted. The reply/directions received will be similar but not necessarily identical to the following:

You may stop receiving text messages at any time by responding "end", "stop" or "quit" to any of the messages. For every confirmation entry text message received you will receive one (1) entry into the corresponding First Prize random drawing (determined by date and time of entry). Entries via text messaging must be received by the end date to be eligible for the last prize drawing. Entries become the property of AlphaTrade or the Sponsor. All entries are subject to the terms set forth in the Statement of Privacy and the consent given at time of registration and entry. Released Parties (as defined below) and any Internet and cellular phone service providers are not responsible for technical malfunctions, interruption, inability to access any Web site or cell number, or for late, misdirected, undeliverable or incomplete entries.
Online Method of Entry:
To enter, visit the following website: http://www.alphatrade.com/text_adrl_thunder_entry.php. Enter in your name, cellular phone number, e-mail address, date of birth, and the verification code listed in the provided box into the appropriate fields in the online form, and click the "submit" button. Cellular phone number inputted must be capable of text messaging but it is not necessary for entry.
Random Drawing of First Prize Winner And Prize Notification:
The First Prize winner will be drawn from the pool of all eligible entry submissions at, or soon after, noon April 15, 2008. The prize drawing is under the supervision of AlphaTrade, whose decisions are final on matters relating to this Promotion. A potential winning entry sent via text message, or online will be awarded to the name corresponding to the mobile account from which the text message, or online entry originated. AlphaTrade will notify the potential prize winners by one or more of the following methods: text message, e-mail, and cell phone. Odds of winning the First Prize depend upon the total number of eligible entry submissions received during the promotion period. Prize winner will be required to contact an AlphaTrade representative after winner notification via cell phone or text messaging. If the prize winner does not contact a representative within two (2) business days from the time the winning message/cell phone call is received, the winner will forfeit the prize in its entirety and an alternate winner may be selected.
The Prize winner (and their corresponding guest) will then be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and where legal, a publicity release within the time specified. Failure to return documents in the time specified, or if winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, may result in disqualification of a potential winner and an alternate winner selected in accordance with these Official Rules. In the event that the winner(s) do(es) not make contact within the designated time frame, an AlphaTrade representative may randomly draw a different winner from the pool of entries and will notify that winner by cell phone. In the event that a random winner is selected that winner will be required to make contact with an AlphaTrade representative within twenty (20) minutes. If the random winner drawn from the pool of entries does not contact an AlphaTrade representative within the time frame, twenty (20) minutes following winner notification by cell phone, the winner will forfeit the prize in its entirety and that prize will be unawarded. In the event that the winner(s) notified from the Promotion do not contact an AlphaTrade representative within twenty (20) minutes of receiving a winning message/call notification, the AlphaTrade representative will not be required to place two (2) adults into the AlphaTrade Thunder Zone.
First Prize:
One (1) First Prize will be awarded of 2 event passes providing access to the AlphaTrade Thunder Zone trackside area to an upcoming ADRL event for (2) two adults. Winner and guest must enter the AlphaTrade Thunder Zone together. First Prize must be taken immediately at the time stipulated by the AlphaTrade representative or the prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Ground transportation, meals, beverages, gratuities and all other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. First Prize must be taken at the time of winner notification or the prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
Approximate total retail value of the Prize is $200 USD (Actual value may vary based upon exact event). Total maximum value of the First Prize not to exceed $200 USD. Prizes are non-transferable, no prize substitutions or alternative prizes will be granted or awarded, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Entrants selected as winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.
First Prize winner and his/her guest will be required to execute and return, within seven (7) days of prize notification, a notarized affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity (where permitted by law). If the guest of the First Prize winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, such guest's parent or legal guardian must sign and return all required documents and must accompany such person (so the winner must be his/her parent or legal guardian). Failure to comply with this requirement may result in forfeiture of prize and selection of an alternate winner, time permitting. A prize may also be forfeited if the notification or prize is mailed to the address listed on entry form and returned as undeliverable mail without a forwarding address.
Conditions for Participation and Validation of Entries:
Entries generated by a script, macro, robotic or other automated means will be disqualified. A maximum of fifty (50) entries, per day, per event sent from an individual registered cell phone number or account or online account are accepted (regardless of method of entry), systems permitting. However, USE OF COMPUTER PROGRAMS TO ENTER AND/OR OTHER AUTOMATIC ENTRY METHODS (SUCH AS HACKS OR BOTS), REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY, IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. AlphaTrade or its Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify, and block or discard any entries from any individual who enters by any kind of electronic, mechanical or other automated means or otherwise tampers with or hacks the entry process as determined by AlphaTrade or the Sponsors in their sole discretion. AlphaTrade and the Sponsors also reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Internet, electronic and/or text-messaging portions of the Promotion in the event of a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical or system failure or disruption, force majeure or any other causes which, in their sole opinion, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Please note, by entering, you agree that if selected as a winner, Sponsors have the right to announce your name, home city, and state, and to air your voice on-air or at the ADRL events. Neither AlphaTrade nor the ADRL are responsible for late, lost and/or incomplete entries, which will be disqualified.
Disputes:
THIS PROMOTION IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF NEW YORK, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Promotion, each participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in New York, having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive; incidental; or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Promotion), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
Promotion Release Of Liability:
All entrants agree to hold harmless and release AlphaTrade and AlphaTrade's Sponsors, the ADRL and VeriSign; their respective parent companies, distributors, affiliates, and subsidiaries; the service agencies and independent contractors of any of the above organizations; their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (including advertising and promotion agencies); and all others associated with the development and execution of this Promotion from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Promotion; participation in any Promotion-related activity; and/or delivery/misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, including, but not limited to, liability for personal injury, bodily injury (including wrongful death or disability), damage to property, and damage or loss of any other kind. AlphaTrade or AlphaTrade's Sponsors are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in the Promotion, or by any technical or human error that might occur in the processing of submissions in the Promotion. AlphaTrade or AlphaTrade's Sponsors assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications-line failure, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. AlphaTrade or AlphaTrade's Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines; providers; computer equipment; or computer software or for failure of text entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion, including injury or damage to the participant's or to any person's wireless phone related to or resulting from participating in or downloading materials for or from this Promotion. AlphaTrade or AlphaTrade's Sponsors are not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the Promotion or to defraud AlphaTrade or AlphaTrade's Sponsors in any way will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Participants who engage in any of the foregoing activities will be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes won. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to, but without limitation, tampering; unauthorized intervention; fraud; technical failures; or any other causes beyond the control of AlphaTrade or AlphaTrade's Sponsors that, in the sole opinion of AlphaTrade or AlphaTrade's Sponsors, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, AlphaTrade or AlphaTrade's Sponsors reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion and select the Grand prize winner and any corresponding First prize winners from among all eligible submissions received prior to cancellation or termination.
